Sole designer in a complex engineering domain. Built high-fidelity interactive Figma prototypes from scratch, covering design, interactions, and system logic end-to-end. Conducted regular thinking-aloud sessions with subject matter experts.
Outcomes
- Prototypes led to a €100k+ development contract
- Features retained and extended in Altium 365 following the acquisition

What I Learned
As a non-domain expert, the ability to ask fundamental questions proved advantageous. This required frequent, precise feedback from clients and experts, resulting in highly aligned, accurate designs. Strengthened skills in building trust, asking targeted questions, and using prototypes to refine domain knowledge — expertise further developed at Apple supporting professional audio and video users.
